5 Beautiful Trails You Can't Miss at Hot Springs National Park

Looking for an outdoor adventure? Then you need to check out the trails at Hot Springs National Park! Thought to have medical and healing properties by the Native American tribes who originally lived in this area, the hot spring water has been drawing people to this place for centuries.

Even before the title of National park even existed, in 1832, the land the park now resides on was set aside by the federal government as preservation for future generations, the first time this had ever happened. It was then made an official National Park in 1851 and has been visited by people from all over the world ever since.

The hot water that the park is known for flows from 47 different springs in the park at a rate of about 700,000 gallons per day and ranges in temperature from about 143 to 186 degrees. And while it's tempting to sit in the water all day and relax, Hot Springs National park is also home to some of the most beautiful hiking trails in Arkansas.
